So what's with the name Flipper Fanny?It all goes back to my mother's trip to Miami Beach when she was venturing out on her own from Illinois. She was sitting by the pool at a hotel when a photographer from the local paper snapped her picture. The next day, there she was on the front page with the headling, Flipper Fanny Flaps her Fins. (Where the fins came from, my brothers and I never knew).
Anyway, when it came time to figure out a name for my old fashioned wholesome baked goods, I decided to name them Flipper Fanny's Cookies and more.
